Overview
About the Lil T Jones Dance AI template
Lil T Jones Dance AI puts you in the middle of a funny little dance routine inside a carpeted room. You begin crouched with one hand raised in a salute. Then you straighten up, drop your arm, and stand facing forward as though nothing unusual is happening.
The movements get increasingly dramatic. One hand comes to your mouth, then the other reaches your cheek. Both hands press against your cheeks as your head tips backward. You throw an arm high, look down, and fold your arms across your chest.
Just when it seems finished, you turn away and walk toward the door. Then you turn back toward the camera, brush a hand across your chest, and finish with both hands raised near your head.

Photo tips, and what can go wrong
Photo tips
- Photo 1: Choose a picture showing your head and upper body for the opening salute and the moments when your hands move toward your face.
- Photo 1: A picture including your torso and arms suits the raised-arm gesture and the moment when both arms fold across your chest.
- Photo 1: A picture with your face directed toward the camera suits the cheek-touching expressions and the final head turn.
- Photo 1: Including more of your body gives the crouched opening and the steps toward the door more visual context.
What can go wrong, and how to fix it
- The face looks unusual when both hands reach the cheeks: These gestures bring the hands close to prominent facial features. Try a front-facing Photo 1 with the whole face visible.
- The expression changes look awkward during the head tilt: The face remains prominent while the head moves backward. Try a Photo 1 with a relaxed, forward-facing expression.
- The facial details look different when the dancer turns back: The routine changes head direction before returning to the camera. Try a Photo 1 that clearly shows the face from the front.
Background
Where the Lil T Jones Dance AI trend comes from
The Lil T Jones dance is a TikTok routine that gained attention in October 2026. It combines a salute, hand gestures around the mouth, bent-knee movements, a turn, and exaggerated facial expressions. The dance takes its name from "Lil TJones," a club track by Houston rapper BeatKing, released in 2010.
Although the music is older, the choreography associated with the recent trend appeared in October 2026. On October 7, a dancer known as lightbright, posting under @frecklefacejb, shared a routine with the caption "Dc: me," indicating that he created the choreography. The video attracted more than a million views by late October.
Other dancers began recreating the routine and crediting lightbright for the choreography. Versions appeared throughout the month, including performances by @tattedupfacedre, @sydcolson, and @xroro_liciousx. A living-room recreation by @brad_sherry on October 28 gained hundreds of thousands of views within two days.
The dance is recognizable because of its sequence of contrasting movements. The performer may start with an almost formal salute, then shift into hand gestures, a sudden raised arm, a turn, and a low bend. The movements are expressive rather than complicated, and the dancer's attitude is part of what makes the routine entertaining.
AI versions of the dance began appearing toward the end of October. A particularly recognizable variation featured a small child performing the routine indoors. The contrast between a toddler's appearance and the confident gestures associated with the original dance gave the AI baby dance its appeal.
These remakes helped introduce the routine to viewers searching for the Lil T Jones baby dance, Lil T Jones dance filter, and similar terms. The repeated salute and hand-over-mouth gestures made the dance easy to recognize even when the person performing it changed.
The original music remains closely associated with the routine. On TikTok, widely shared versions have used an audio upload credited as "original sound - primitive_villaa," featuring BeatKing's track.
This version puts the person in Photo 1 into a carpeted-room performance, starting with a crouched salute and ending with a turn back toward the camera and both hands raised near the head.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is the Lil T Jones Dance AI trend?
Lil T Jones Dance AI is a photo-to-video version of the viral October 2026 dance performed to BeatKing's "Lil TJones." The routine includes a salute, gestures near the mouth and cheeks, a raised arm, folded arms, and a turn away from the camera. This version places the person in one uploaded photo into a carpeted-room performance of those movements.
How do I make the Lil T Jones Dance AI video?
Add Photo 1 (Your photo) for the person who performs the dance, beginning with a crouched salute and ending with both hands raised near the head. Choose 480p or 720p, confirm that your photo may be used, and press Generate video. Once the result is ready, you can watch and download it.
What song is used in the Lil T Jones dance?
The Lil T Jones dance is associated with "Lil TJones," a club track released by Houston rapper BeatKing in 2010. Popular TikTok dance performances have used an audio upload credited to primitive_villaa. This video carries its original sound, so there is no separate music-selection step.
Who created the Lil T Jones dance?
The October 2026 choreography is credited to TikTok dancer lightbright, who posted a routine on October 7 using the caption "Dc: me." Other dancers subsequently recreated the moves and credited him. The AI baby dance is a later variation of that broader trend, rather than the original source of the choreography.
Why is the Lil T Jones baby dance popular?
The baby version makes the dance funny by combining small-child movements with the confident gestures of a club dance. A crouched salute, hands pressed to the cheeks, a dramatic raised arm, and a turn away from the camera all look different when performed by a toddler. That contrast helped the dance spread through AI remakes.
Which photo should I upload for Lil T Jones Dance AI?
Photo 1 is the only photo used in this version. It represents the dancer throughout the salute, cheek-touching gestures, raised arm, folded-arm pose, and turn toward the door. A picture including the face, shoulders, and some of the torso suits these movements, especially when the hands come close to the cheeks.
What does the Lil T Jones dance salute look like?
The salute begins while the dancer is crouched, with one hand raised beside the head. The dancer then straightens up, lowers the hand, and stands facing forward before moving into gestures around the mouth and cheeks. It is one of the most recognizable movements of the routine and makes the opening immediately identifiable.
What if my Lil T Jones dance face looks strange?
The face is especially important during the salute, the cheek-touching gestures, and the moment when the dancer tilts their head back. If those expressions look awkward, try a different Photo 1 with the face facing forward and the features fully visible. The hands moving close to the face make those moments particularly demanding.
